The longest one ever: Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You

Hello! I’m back! I’ve discovered that two weeks in the sun is just about long enough to forget a) all your work passwords and b) how to type. It took me pretty much all week just to login so that I could put Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You together and get it sent out today.

We’ve got loads of new subscribers, so welcome to you all. If you’re not sure what you’ve signed up to, I can only apologise in advance for cluttering up your inbox each Friday with poorly constructed syntax and attempts to be funny. You’ll find the unsubscribe button at the bottom, but bear in mind that I get my wages docked each time someone uses it and it’s coming up to Christmas.

On with the news…

A torrent of verbal ectoplasm: Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You

Closed gone fishing

A very misleading headline. This week’s edition is a little dry, it seems I used all my creative inspiration on last week’s poetry edition. So much so that I’m taking off on holiday for a couple of weeks to recharge my batteries. No Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You until 6th November, you’ll be relieved to hear.

Enjoy this week’s news (there’s a lot of it) and have a good couple of weeks.

Difficult to read and rather annoying: Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You

Poetry

Yesterday was National Poetry Day
So this is written in rhyme, I hope it’s ok.
It’s a little annoying, that much is true
But that’s often the way, with Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You.

Bear Grylls? Pah: Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You.

Forest

The SSE London team spent the day in a forest yesterday. We learned how to (sort of) start a fire, how to (sort of) walk like a fox and then we hunted a man playing a flute while we were blindfolded and barefoot in a forest. (Hmmm. I’m sure that it was chestnuts in the soup that we ate a lunchtime, but I might be wrong).

Huge thanks to SSE student Robert Fallon for hosting us at his project Wild Nature – highly recommended if you want to do some team building and pick up some survival skills.

Enjoy your weekend

Coughing its way into to the weekend: Have I Got Social Enterprise News For You

Thermometer

Hands up if you’ve also been suffering with a cold? Yuck. I’ve definitely not been on top form. Based on the amount that I’ve spent with them this week, staff at Lemsip are going to have a lavish Christmas party this year. But hey, it’s Friday, it’s nearly the weekend, it’s sunny outside and there’s a load of interesting news for you to read through this week.

Enjoy!
