On Monday I was at the Social Economy Alliance fringe event at the Labour conference, our students were in for the last block of this year’s Start Up course this week and yesterday I was at the launch of the ICSF’s ‘Realising the Potential of Social Replication’ report.  Details below, along with a couple of other things I’ve spotted this week.

Quid Pro Quo

On 20th September I joined representatives of charities, social enterprises and support organisations across the East of England at “Quid Pro Quo”, an annual conference run by Third Sector Futures hosted at Anglia Ruskin University.  I had enjoyed the equivalent event last year and knew it would be a good day even before seeing the list of speakers and workshops. Launch of West Midlands SSE

The long awaited launch of School for Social Entrepreneurs West Midlands officially took place earlier this week. The event was bursting with energy and all attendees welcomed SSE with open arms, confirming that, establishing a presence in this region is long overdue.

SSE Global Away Days
