We Asked Five…

The Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme gives social entrepreneurs the best possible chance of success by providing access to support and funding. To date the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme has supported 1,000 social entrepreneurs to grow their enterprises and increase their positive impact.

We asked five SSE Fellows of the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programmes whether they would recommend it to others.

Here’s what they said:

Victoria BeeBee, SSE Hampshire Start Up, VoxSkool

11“Absolutely!  I even managed to persuade someone on Twitter to apply to one of the cohorts in England and was chuffed to hear that she got in!”

Chris Hellawell, SSE Scotland Start Up, Edinburgh Tool Library

Jacquie in The Brink

“Apply if you want to experience high-quality business and personal development support. Don’t apply if you aren’t prepared to think expansively and definitely don’t if you want lecture style academic learning. If you are one of the chosen few who get on the course, then strap yourself in nice and secure because it’s likely to be an amazing ride!”

Jacquie Johnston-Lynch, SSE North West Start Up & London Scale Up, The Brink

james 3“I would 100% recommend Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneur Programme. Without the program and the support offered we would not be here. I have grown so much as an individual which in turn has helped generation success grow.”

James Adeleke, SSE London Start Up, Generation Success

SSE North West Fellow Daniel

“Definitely.  For a start-up it’s a depressing world out there at times, full of naysayers and defeatist ideas. The Programme is the antidote. Surrounded by open, driven students, wise and experienced tutors and illuminating established social entrepreneurs. it is a commune in the best sense of the word.”

Daniel Robinson, SSE North West Start Up, Peloton Liverpool
