SSE Midlands took the top prize of Social Enterprise of the Year at the prestigious Birmingham Awards last month. Beating an impressive array of nominations, SSE Midlands won the price for the local impact it had in supporting social enterprise development and for demonstrating the value social enterprise can provide to the local economy.
