SSE Chief Executive Alastair Wilson awarded OBE

We’re thrilled to share that our chief executive, Ali Wilson, has been awarded an OBE in recognition of his outstanding services to business and charity.

Ali has led the School for Social Entrepreneurs with passion and purpose since 2004. Under his leadership, many thousands of social entrepreneurs have been supported to turn their ideas into lasting impact. Beyond SSE, Ali is chair of the Foyer Federation, deputy co-chair of Crisis, co-founder and board member of Tonic Housing, and serves on the boards of Good Place Lettings and the Home of Social Enterprise.

It’s a hugely deserved award – congratulations, Ali!
