In this workshop, you will get all the essential information and gain insights from expert speakers to help you take your next steps with social investment and unlock this potentially game-changing funding source.

Insights from Good Finance
This workshop is created in partnership with and subsidised by Good Finance, a collaborative project to help charities and social enterprises to navigate social investment. They will be answer the questions ‘what is social investment?’, and ‘what role does it play alongside grants, trading income and other sources of finance?’
We’ll explore the principles, strategies, and practical applications of social investment, shedding light on its role in driving positive change while maintaining financial sustainability. Whether you’re curious about exploring new funding avenues or seeking to deepen your understanding of social finance, this presentation promises valuable insights to inform your journey!
Good Finance is a collaborative project to help charities and social enterprises to navigate social investment. This includes improving knowledge, enabling organisations to make informed decisions and helping to connect them to the right social investors based on shared values. They have a number of tools and resources available to everyone via their website and it’s a great place to start for any organisation looking to unlock social investment for organisation.

Unlocking Social Investment is suitable for staff at all levels interested in finding out more about social finance and social investment. No prior knowledge is required and the day is designed to provide a full introduction to what can seem a complex topic. You might be:

This session will help contextualise what you’ve learned and how it can help you take positive steps forward.
