SSE-O Inaugural Cohort Ready to Tackle Tough Social Challenges

In launching SSE-O's inaugural fellowship program, we searched far and wide for 20 inspired and inspiring individuals willing to tackle our toughest social problems. We found them and boy are we excited by what they plan to do!

SSE-O serves passionate people interested in launching a non-profit, cooperative, ethical business or social venture that will benefit their community and society as a whole. Located in the Regent Park neighbourhood of Toronto, our inaugural fellowship program got off to a great start over the September 14th weekend, with the first set of eager students scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2013. The School's aspiring fellows have plans for businesses that run the gamut from tech-based social change tools to environmentally progressive products and services.
